Simply stated a goal is something that you want to accomplish and that you are willing to work hard to achieve.
For example, a goal could be a promise to earn straight A’s or a promise to do your homework and study every day as soon as you get home.
As you can see, thinking about a goal or even writing down what you want to accomplish is a simple thing to do.
But learning something new or working at accomplishing a series of tasks necessary to accomplish that goal is not easy to do!
Here’s proof of why goals are difficult to accomplish: A lot of people set New Year’s Eve goals or resolutions but only about 8% of the people stick to it for 30 days.
This means that 92% of the time people give up on their goals.
