Lesson 93: Learning 1 Fact In 6 Seconds Is Easy, Learning 10 Facts In 60 Seconds Is Almost Impossible

Here’s a fact: it is much easier to learn one fact, like  Abraham Lincoln, who was the 16th president of the United States, in six seconds, while it is challenging to learn 10 facts about Abraham Lincoln in 60 seconds.

Here’s why: even though you understood every word in the list of 10 facts, 60 seconds is not enough time for the neurons in your brain to grow and connect properly.

Also, too often, people think that simply understanding what they read in a text or heard in class means that they will also remember what they read in their text.
