Lesson 89: The Importance Of A Distraction-Free Study Zone In The Home

It is virtually impossible to focus on learning two things at one time, especially if one thing, like talking to a friend, is more interesting than doing homework or studying for a test.

Here’s a fact: you cannot stay focused on what you’re reading while your attention is focused on something else, like social media and or texting your friends.

When trying to “understand and remember” you must focus your attention on what you’re reading, which takes practice.

And the best place to do homework and study is in a “distraction-free study zone” in your home.
