Lesson 25: The Last Two Steps Of The Habit Loop: Response and Reward

The third step in Clear’s Habit Loop is the Response Step.

The Response Step involves taking action or engaging in a behavior that satisfies the craving.

In simple terms, the Response Step entails doing what the craving compels you to do.

The fourth and final step of the habit loop is the Reward.

The reward, although not considered a step, is the exhilarating sensation that accompanies successful completion, leaving you feeling fantastic!

The reward triggers the release of dopamine in your brain, a natural drug that induces a sense of well-being. This dopamine-induced euphoria, whether from a good or bad habit, is what motivates you to repeat the habit over and over again.
