Lesson Eight: How We All Work Together

Even though Gauge has to listen to us, he is quite stubborn. Therefore, it’s challenging for both you and me to persuade him to do what we desire unless we constantly remind him!

Unfortunately, due to the 40 to 50,000 different thoughts and challenges we face each day, it can be tough for us to remember to instruct him continually.

Remember, you and I communicate every minute of every day, but Gauge doesn’t have any concern for you and resists change.

That’s why, unlike the serenity prayer we follow, here’s the motto that my brother Gauge abides by:

“I oversee the Habit Center of your brain, and I have the power to either make you great or lead you to failure. The fact is, it makes no difference to me because I… Don’t… Care… About… You!”
